Gait Training

Gait is the term used to describe our manner of walking. Many factors can alter a gait pattern, including surgery, injury, weakness, deformity and/or biomechanical alignment. Some patients may need assistive devices such as walkers, canes, crutches or orthotic devices to aid their walking pattern, and others may need advice on what is the best shoe for their foot to enhance optimal performance. RHC therapists will evaluate your gait to determine the best method, exercises or assistance to get you back to your highest level of activity.
